The verb "gustar"

This probably is the most obvious start, as most other instructors in my program mention this song "Me gustas tú" by Manu Chau when the gustar verb is introduced.  The drawback of this song, although there are MANY great models of the structure, is that "me gustas tú" is a refrain and that structure is more advanced than what is typically first introduced (only 3rd person forms).  However, focusing the handout on the 3rd person forms will usually get the message across that they are the important structures at this time.  

I would also pick out learned/current vocabulary for the cloze activity with the lyrics. A nice follow-up activity is having them write a short "Me gustas tu" poem mimicking the structure of the song where they choose things que a ellos les gustan.  Target structures are in bold.
